The Decorating Company was founded by Iain Black and began as a small to medium sized decorating specialist in the 1980s, first developed in Australia before transferring to America in the 1990s, which is where we realised the importance of exceptional customer care, highest quality workmanship, accurate work scheduling and detailed ‘value-for-money’ pricing.

Over the years we have built up a team of tradesmen who are professional, trustworthy, reliable and fully share the company’s emphasis on exceptional quality craftsmanship, total customer care and best value for money. Our team of tradesmen can support any building maintenance requirements the customer may have.

Our client base in Scotland became established in Edinburgh in 2006. Since then we have continued to expand over the years and now includes some of the biggest and most prestige companies in Edinburgh.
